Generasian loves to support our fellow Asian American brothers and sisters in their efforts to build community, discover more about our cultural identity and discuss important issues. Let’s Talk is a safe space hosted by Asian Heritage Month at NYU for constructive discussion regarding current socio-political Asian-American issues relevant to the community.
“On March 9th, AHM will be collectively examining the importance and challenges of mental health and wellbeing in Asian-American communities. By grappling with the difficulties of conversations of mental health as well as self-care, we hope to provide an opportunity for students to educate themselves more and share anecdotes on how to handle sensitive and sparse topics within their community. Students and faculty have been invited to offer resources and foster healthy and productive dialogue.
Food will be provided!”
They will be featuring guest speakers Dr. Marianne Chai, Linh An, Bonnie Tang, Buyi Wang.
