Just a little late this Music Monday, but time to feature another talented artist! TiA, a Japanese singer best known for singing the ending theme for Naruto, will be performing at Sugar Bar this Saturday!
TiA has gained wide recognition for “Ryuusei”, (ending theme for Naruto), and “Every Time” (theme for HEY HEY HEY MUSIC CHAMP). She debuted at the age of 16 and soon became famous for her song “Ryuusei”, one of the Naruto ending themes. Her other well-known singles are “Every Time” and “Promise”.
TiA was born in Yokohama, Japan. After sending her demo tapes to several companies, she signed a contract with Epic Records when she was just 16 and her third album recieved a Gold Disc Award. As a singer, she has performed at many famous venues in Japan and large-scale events like Yokohama Port Festival, Jingu Gaien Fireworks Festival, Yokohama BLITZ , Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse and Makuhari messe. She arrived in New York in October 2014.
The show will be at Sugar Bar (254 West 72nd Street #1A) at 8pm on January 10th. Tickets are $10 at the door. Hope to see you there!
