Last week, one of our bloggers posted a response to the verdict of NYPD Officer Liang. Not long after this we received a message (pictured above) that stated “Peter Liang did nothing wrong, I don’t know why people will find any excuse to defend low life n-.”
We here at Generasian understand that some of what we post will have opposition, and this is okay because our ultimate purpose is to generate conversation. But what we cannot and do not tolerate is racism and bigotry. Ignorance is not acceptable when facing issues such as this.
So, thank you so much to the members that we have that are ready to confront this type of ignorance and to many more positive, thought-provoking conversations that are to come!
