My trip to the hot spring

I’m dropped into the hot water

i land with a little plop and sink to the bottom

hot bubbles push me back up, and i bob up and down, up and down

my body bloats and puffs, and my pores slowly open up with the hot steam 

Next the water begins to move in a mini whirlpool, spinning me round and round

i bump into my friends as we all go around and around, but

one of my friends has a small cut in her tummy that

grows bigger and bigger as she spins the swirling hot water, so

all of her inside juices drain out of her until

she is bland and torn and all apart 

and we are all swimming in her inside juices.

Next, another friend of mine spills into an empty tub, one drop at a time. 

she is swirled round and around and around, morphing into a mini black whirlpool of her own 

I am soon gently scooped out of the water with a nice, cool hand 

i am placed next to my friends in a steamy white room, 

all of us shiny with hot water and slightly bloated

while we wait for our skin to dry and our pruned fingertips to plump up, 

my friend’s tub floats up and forward until 

she is hovering high above us

her tub slowly tips over and

she peeks over the rim and dives down in a long flowing waterfall, 

then one drop at a time, 

into our steamy white room.

she seeps into our wet skin and drips down to our feet 

my skin puckers while absorbing yet 

another one of my friends.

she also mixes with the juicy water that dripped from our skin

one by one, we leave the steamy white room

we are slipped into a warm, dark cave

where the ground pushes me side to side 

and the walls cut me in half again and again 

until i am thoroughly mixed with all my friends

and together we slide down a big hole 

in the back of the cave
